Come May 12, I will have given myself every chance to be victorious.
Moments ago, I sent an email to The Princeton Review's Premier Tutor Christopher Hammer in regards to where I can find locations that administer practice tests. This entire GMAT training/studying/preparation will begin with a practice test, just to gauge exactly where I am at. Preparation starts January 29.
The email was as follows:
From: "Bryan Bradley"
Subject: Hey
Chris - question about practice tests!
To: chrishammer1971@yahoo.com
Chris,
Hello, my name is Bryan Bradley. We spoke at a party
one night late last year, at Jeremy and Keeley's engagement party in Brigantine. It was then that you presented me your business card which also contains your email. Hopefully your holidays were awesome and the new year has been good to you thus far.
I had a question regarding GMAT practice tests. I was wondering if you knew about any places or locations where one could take practice tests. Maybe colleges, or libraries, or any place that might administer practice test sessions. I believe The Richard Stockton College of NJ did so a year or two ago. I am going to call the school tomorrow and ask them if they still do that. I was just wondering if you knew of any place else that might do that.
I will be taking the GMAT on May 12 of this year and I want to
start the studying process with a practice test to gauge exactly where I stand and where I need more practice. If you could be of service regarding this matter, I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you very much for your time!
Sincerely,
Bryan
Mind, body, and soul will all come together. Come May 12, I will have given myself every chance to be victorious. There is nothing wrong with postponing the test from it's original date of December 2, 2006. It takes a man to admit that the time is not yet right. I takes a strong man to know himself and his boundaries. One must know one's self. All I did was delay the inevitable, which will be a victory.
I will have given myself every chance to gain the score that I desire. This whole process starts with three or four good hard months of preparation. A practice test, followed by fourteen weeks of preparation, with seven weeks devoted respectably towards math (first seven) and a combination of math and verbal (remaining seven). I await Mr. Hammer's response so we can get this ball rolling come January 29. May 12 is a HUGE date for me.
Right now, I'm just gathering all of the tools and resources needed for that preparation. May 12 is my day. My glorious day. A defining day. A defining victory. A win.
I will win, come May 12! More to come soon.
